Daphne Ann Blake, along with her fellow gang members, is not only remembered for her red hair and her fashion sense but for being danger-prone. In fact, in practically every episode she gets captured, tied up, gagged and blindfolded and has to be rescued, usually by Scooby-Doo and Shaggy.
In the 2002, Scooby Doo movie and the subsequent Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Daphne is played by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Unlike the television series, she is portrayed not as a damsel in distress, but someone who is trained in martial arts and can get herself out of trouble. Even so, she still remains obsessed with fashion and her appearance, especially her hair.
She certainly had a great sense of style and usually appears in a purple dress, pink pantyhose, purple shoes or boots and a green scarf. In the Scooby-Doo movies, Daphne always looked amazing wearing different outfits in her favorite shade of purple.

Her wealthy father who was the creator of “Blake’s Bubbles” and his wealth allowed Daphne and her fellow gang members of Mystery Inc, to use the mystery machine, boats, radio and other devices. She had an uncle who was a movie director and a cousin who was a famous French model.
