In case you didn’t know, Scooby-Doo and his friends drive around in the Mystery Machine van solving mysteries which always included ghosts, monsters and crooks. Each episode had a similar plot line which consisted of the gang bumping into an evil ghost or monster that was terrorizing the neighborhood, and then they would offer to solve the mystery.
They would normally split up into two groups consisting of Daphne, Fred and sometimes Velma in the first group and Shaggy, Scooby and sometimes Velma in the second. Scooby and Shaggy usually ended up finding and eating food while at the same time running into the villain who ends up chasing them.
In the meantime Fred, Daphne and Velma find clues also running into the monster or ghost. Daphne always tended to get captured by the monster and had to be rescued, usually by Fred and Velma, but sometimes Scooby and Shaggy. Unfortunately Velma often ends up losing her glasses and can’t see anything until they are found.
Finally they are all reunited, analyze the clues and learn the true identity of the villain. The episode always ended with the gang having fun, with Shaggy trying to eat something but Scooby always beating him to it.
So who is your favorite character? Do you want to be like handsome blonde-haired Fred who leads the gang? How about Daphne who is remembered for her red hair and fashion sense as well as her knack for getting into danger? What about Velma, the intelligent one who wore glasses which she was prone to lose, as well as a baggy orange sweater? Then there’s Shaggy who always seems to be more interested in eating than solving any of the mysteries.
Finally, there’s everyone’s favorite Great Dane, Scooby Doo who belongs to Shaggy. Like Shaggy, Scooby is lazy and likes to eat a lot of food. Scooby is a talking dog and always ends each episode with his catch phrase “Scooby-Dooby-Doo” which can sometimes sound like “Rooby-Rooby-Roo”. Along with his quirky chuckle, he always says “Ruh-roh, Raggy” which translates as meaning “Uh-oh, Shaggy”.
